You might be wondering how minimalists would celebrate their halloween............

When you walk into places like DIASO, IKEA, GIANT, or FAIRPRICE etc, you will see a lot of halloween stuffs being sold. Not only this, a lot of "trick or treat stuffs" will be marked up at least 20-30% higher.

As the day get closer or over, all these sweet treats' prices will then be marked down.

So as a minimalist, we wouldn't want to accumulate useless stuffs that don't add values to our lives!

So, how can we celebrate halloween totally and completely?

Well, I have a suggestion........

Make your own "halloween stuffs" with whatever you have at home!

For example, I taught my daughter how to make a halloween mask simply by using what she has at home (colour pencils, drawing paper, rubber band etc).

Alternatively, you can have fun with them using free downloadable app like "egg". Watch how I turn into a werewolf here.

Let It Go!

You have to let it go! Letting it go is never easy. It is easier said than being done . I can totally connect with you. The same kind of feeling when I first let go of my kids and placed them in infant care and child care center. Few things that came to my mind: "Will they be well-taken care of? Will they fall sick easily? Will those care givers ❤️ them as much as I do?" I was so worried!  "But sooner or later I got to let them go, its just a matter of time!" This was what my subconscious was telling me! Well, same goes for stuffs that we keep holding on to them! We always tell ourselves " Just in case we need them in the future." Why Most Choose To Be A Hoarder?

Have you ever wondered why do people hoard? Perhaps it all started from our fore parents? Most of them migrated to a new country with nothing and they tend not to take things for granted. To them every stuffs are valuable. However, over time as we become more and more well to do, our habits still follow.
